Christopher Janes, Vice Chair
Chris Janes is a Licensed Practical Nurse with over a decade of experience in healthcare, having graduated in 2014 from the College of the North Atlantic in Grand Falls Windsor.
Throughout his career, he has developed a strong focus on regulatory practice, professional standards, and governance within the nursing profession. Currently Chris is Regional Manager of Patient Flow with NL Health Services Central Zone.
Commitment to the Profession
In addition to his clinical background, Chris has demonstrated significant leadership at the provincial level. He served for 9 years on the CLPNNL Board as a Zone Representative, including time as Chair. In this role, he contributed to policy development, regulatory oversight, and strategic decision-making, helping to advance safe, competent, and ethical nursing practice.
Chris is recognized for his commitment to strengthening the profession through effective governance, collaboration, and a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks. His work reflects a balance of frontline nursing insight and high-level leadership in healthcare regulation.
