Search for a Nurse
Employers can confirm the status of nurse’s licence by checking the College’s “Search for a Nurse” public directory.
The College publishes names exactly as they appear on a nurse’s official ID. When verifying that a nurse is licensed, employers are reminded to compare the name shown in the search results with the nurse’s photo ID.
Employer Directory
The College offers an Employer Directory that allows employers to view a list of their employees and confirm their licensure status.
This tool makes it easy to verify licensure without searching for each nurse individually in the public directory. Some employers may also be approved to download this information directly from the Employer Directory.
